A nude done in the classic style, a simple direct black and white print of a nude young woman facing the camera with a plain background. The print is 5" x 7", total size 10.5" x 14" I shot this photo in 2018. This frame probably dates to the 1930s, and the art deco era. It's made of wood, but the detailed face of the frame is done in pressed metal, possibly tin or brass. It has the cold feel of metal when you touch it. The matte dates to the same period. The frame is beautiful in its own right, and the metal cover makes it extra-heavy and durable. There are very small amounts of wear and damage at some of the corners, which you'd expect from something so old. I never print a photo until I have the frame chosen, and this is one of my best combinations. This method has the additional benefit of making every piece individual - the odds of me finding another of these 80-year-old frames is astronomical.
