A bit of serendipity, old school meets new school. I shot this photo in 2018 on a friend's farm with two of my favorite models: Michelle and Dianea. Earlier this year I came across several of these 19th century wood frames at an estate sale, and the project came together. The 8" x 10" print is in sepia tones, with the edge faded out as 19th century photographers did. the four white buttons on the corners are early plastic pins that hold the frame together. Total size is 14" x 16". The figures and shading from the sunlight define the women's curves beautifully, or you can tell your friends that one of your great-grandmothers is in the photo, and they'll believe you.
